2008 Session Information
The 2008 National Service Coordinator Conference will offer a variety of workshops for service coordinators in all levels of experience working in affordable housing. The conference will also include workshops for property managers, management company staff and QA supervisors.
This year’s conference program topics will include more than 80 workshops on such topics as trends in service delivery systems, the future of resident councils and their role in property management, HUD updates of the occupancy and managing agent handbooks, community counseling and the role of the SC, latest trends in SC outcomes research, advanced ethics, implementation of powerful FSS programs, fair housing updates, Grantsmanship, financial literacy, and HUD changes to the FSS, ROSS and elderly SC programs.
Attendees will learn the latest on these issues and more from representatives of some of the top national organizations and federal agencies, including the National Alzheimer’s Association, U.S. Department of Labor, the American Bar Association’s Commission on Law & Aging, HUD, the Administration on Aging, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
