Continuing Education Credit Policy

All CEU’s are offered through the National Association of Social Workers. When offering continuing education credits (CEU’s), AASC must abide by the rules and regulations of all applicable professional accrediting boards and agencies. As such, AASC cannot provide CEU’s to attendees who arrive late or leave the workshop early.

AASC cannot provide partial credit for concurrent workshops as attendees must be present for the entire duration of the workshop to receive full credit. Please Note: Both the Q&A and interactive components of a workshop are considered part of the credit hour count – attendees who leave during either of these segments cannot be granted credit for the workshop.

AASC uses a bar coding system for tracking workshop attendance. Your badge will have a bar code that is unique to you. Be sure to have your badge scanned by the workshop moderator assigned to each workshop at the conference both upon entering the workshop and when leaving the workshop. Badge scanning at the beginning of a session will stop when the speaker begins his/her presentation. Badges will not be scanned at the end of the session until the question and answer period has concluded.

Continuing education certificates with complete attendance transcripts are available for a $20 fee. Please check the appropriate box during registration and include the additional fee with your payment. If you have paid for a CEU certificate, you will receive an email with a link to your printable certificate/transcript within 10 days after the conference.
